Im a DJ, Hear Me Roar

So, this piece has taken a couple of days on and off to do and has gone through many changes. Originally inspired by [link] 's work of a girl dj i tried to emulate it loving her character design. After i copied her design i didnt want to rip off her work so contacted her through email and over the course of a few emails i managed to make the character you see before you, my own, if you see her work and look at my character you'll see the differences to make the character my own whilst still using hers as a guide to size of the girl, i guess you could say her work inspired me to do my own rather than a direct rip off which i hope it isnt. I must thank her kindly for letting me use her work to gain experience in drawing women, and people, because im crap at doing people getting the proportions right. I then added in my own decks and mixer which took a bit of work, the original ones lacked perspective but after over coming that you have what you see before you.

This piece was originally meant as a cover design for a catalogue that never made it, ive removed the logos and contact details of the company it was for so you lot dont harass me but i hope you like this picture and who knows, you may see it else where in the future.
